Jere Waldron

Athletic Director

Head Boys Cross Country Coach

Head Boys Soccer Coach

Mr. Waldron is excited to start his second season as athletics coordinator and coach at Beloved. He grew up playing soccer and also played some hockey as a teenager. While attending Montclair University Mr. Waldron also worked as the Associate Sports Director at a large YMCA. In that position he coached multiple youth sports in and also facilitated many adult recreational leagues.

In ten years at his previous school Mr. Waldron coached one season of cross country and two seasons as an assistant girls basketball coach. His main focus as a coach was spending five years as the boys lacrosse coach helping start the lacrosse program at the school. Beyond school coaching Mr. Waldron was the Co-President and Head Youth Coach of Green & Gold Lacrosse. Green & Gold is a summer all star tournament team and high school feeder program. He is working towards bringing a lacrosse team to Beloved and hopes to have one in the very near future.

Mr. Waldron is a fan of Everton Football Club, and the US Men's National Team in soccer. He also loves the New York Rangers and Giants and Brooklyn Nets. You do not have to agree with him about these teams being the best in order to make his teams or pass his class but it certainly could not hurt!

Coach Waldron feels that team sports can and should build character, respect, and responsibility in young people. It is the coach's duty to guide the players in a positive way to achieve these goals. Winning is a priority on the field, but our greatest impact is the type of people we are creating off the field.
